How to pair Moasure ONE with your smartphone or tabletUpdated 22 days ago

In this chapter, you will learn:

  • How to pair Moasure ONE with your smartphone or tablet
  • What to do if your Moasure ONE doesn't pair (Android, iOS)

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Install the Moasure app on your smartphone or tablet;

  2. Go to the "Settings" menu (tap the cog in the top right corner of the app);

  3. Go to “Account & Device Management” and select "Register Device";

At this stage, you will be asked to turn your Bluetooth on if you haven’t done so already. This step is required in order to connect to your Moasure ONE.

  1. Switch on your Moasure ONE by double tapping on it (plug in a USB charge if it doesn’t switch on);

Before moving to the next step, please ensure that the Moasure ONE is awake and its LED is flashing blue.

  1. Select the device you would like to pair with your smartphone or tablet (please allow the Moasure app at least 20 seconds to find the Moasure device - it usually is much faster but occasionally it can take longer). 

Note: the Moasure ONE device pairs via the Moasure appnot via your smartphone settings.

Unable to pair your Moasure ONE?

If Bluetooth is enabled on your phone, and the Moasure ONE is flashing Blue, and still the Moasure app can’t find it, then please follow these steps.


Bear in mind that Moasure ONE requires the smartphone or tablet to have at least Bluetooth 5.0 and is compatible with most devices that have the following operating systems: Apple iOS 12.4 and higher, Android 8.0 and higher.

Android

  1. Please ensure that your Location (GPS) is on. Android Location (GPS) needs to be enabled to scan for Bluetooth devices;

  2. Open your phone’s Settings;

  3. Selects “Apps” or “Application Manager”;

  4. Tap on the 3-dots icon located top-right and select to “Show system apps”;

  5.  Find and select the “Bluetooth” app - this may also be called “Bluetooth Share” (There may even be multiple such apps in which case you should repeat the procedure on all of them);

  6. Select “Battery” (this could also be called “Power Management” or similar);

  7. If there is an option “Allow background activity” (or similar), make sure that it is enabled;

  8. Go back one step and now select “Storage”;

  9. Tap the “Clear cache” option;

  10. If you have multiple apps called “Bluetooth” or “Bluetooth Share”, please repeat steps 5-9 for each of them now;

  11. Restart your phone;

  12. Make sure that Bluetooth is enabled;

  13. Start the Moasure app and try again.

iOS

1) Please ensure you’re trying to pair the device in the Moasure App and not in the iPhone's Bluetooth menu.

 

2) Check that Bluetooth is switched on, on your iPhone.

 

3) Double tap the device to ensure the LED is blue when the Moasure App is looking for the Moasure ONE.

 

4) Please visit the Settings menu of your iPhone and scroll down to the Moasure App, then check the permissions and allow the Moasure app to have access to Bluetooth.

  3. Enter all the relevant details;

  4. Click “Send support email”.
