Closed Shape

Measure: Area, Perimeter and Elevation.

Examples: Lawns, Driveways, Rooms, Stairs.

Important: It's crucial to start and finish your measurement at exactly the same point as this will result in an accurate measurement.

Open Shape

Measure: Total Distance, Elevation.

Examples: Pipe/cable runs, Single wall/fence.

Point to Point

Measure: Length, Gradient, Rise & Run.

Examples: Distance between 2 points, Gradients, Rise and Run.

Angle

Measure: Angle.

Examples: Angles between surfaces, lines on a surface, slopes.
