Now that you've successfully paired your Moasure ONE device with your smartphone or tablet, the next step is to learn how to start and finish a measurement so that you can start making the most of your digital measuring tool.

Step-by-step instructions on how to start and finish a measurement

1. Ensure that both the Moasure ONE device and Bluetooth are turned on;

2. Tap on the "Start a New Measurement" button in the bottom centre of the app to see the list of available measuring options;

3. Choose one from the list (Closed shape, Open shape, Point to Point, Angle);

4. Once you've chosen a measuring option, the LED of your Moasure ONE will change from a flashing blue to a solid red. This means your device is connected to the phone so that you can place it at the start point of your measurement;

5. To begin the measurement, the device needs to be stationary against a solid surface such as the ground, or a wall;

TIPS:

• When the LED turns green, together with an audible prompt, you can start moving. If you don’t hear the audible cues from your phone, check the phone volume is turned up and the mute switch is off. 

• Each time the device is stationary, Moasure captures another measurement point. We call these ‘pause points’ and the action might take up to a second.

• It’s important to take a pause every 6-8 seconds in order to capture a new ‘pause point’.

6. Once you’re ready to complete your measurement, press the red "STOP" icon in the bottom centre of the screen.
